Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Every other weekend required with holidays as needed

• Patient ratio of 5:1 across all shifts

• Floating required as needed to other Cone Health campuses

• 24 hours of orientation provided

• Minimum 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted

• Cardiac telemetry experience required

• ACLS and BLS certifications required

• Epic charting system experience required

• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)

• Focus on cardiac patients including congestive heart failure, rule-out myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndrome, and arrhythmias

• Secondary focus on respiratory problems such as COPD and pneumonia

• Skills required include blood product administration, central line care, feeding tube management, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, and titration of cardiac and insulin drips

• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences

• Full compliance file required by 12 noon EST Wednesday prior to start date

• 50-mile local radius restriction applies

The facility features a 30-bed cardiac telemetry unit with a daily census of 30 patients, serving adults and geriatric populations. The organization offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and other specialized services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
