The Role
We are seeking a professional Production Manager, or experienced Production Supervisor, to safely lead our Bayswater production team through the next period of strategic growth and implement change.
Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, this position requires an experienced individual ready for the challenges of leading the team at our busiest production facility, manufacturing and supplying our world‑class antenna products globally.
You will be supported as you transition into the role of Production Manager where you will ensure quality and delivery performance, drive manufacturing operations and improvements, and lead across Production, Warehouse and Planning with a primary focus on exceeding customer expectations while ensuring the welfare of our team.
The role will also be responsible for some facilities management aspects of the Bayswater site.
Responsibilities
- Manage production and ensure transparent reporting of performance to the business on key metrics for production, warehouse and dispatch.
- Drive a culture of exceeding customer quality and delivery expectations, establishing effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the implementation of improvement initiatives, driving ongoing business growth for the production team.
- Develop team performance and ensure appropriate succession plans are in place for all critical roles, with development plans for high‑potential staff.
- Maintain and develop a safe, enjoyable working environment, ensuring production environments continue to exceed compliance requirements and policies.
- Coordinate facility security, improvements and maintenance as required.
Qualifications & About you
- 10+ years of Production/Manufacturing Management or Supervisory experience in a larger environment, ideally from a busy, high‑mix / low‑volume product background.
- Highly demonstrated understanding of safety and strong mechanical or production engineering experience and / or knowledge.
- High attention to detail with a sense of urgency, great communication and organisation skills.
- Pragmatic and adept at finding solutions to improve product and processes.
- Strong relationship building skills and cooperation with other teams across the business.
- Natural and engaging on quality and safety, with authentic leadership and people management skills and the ability to grow and develop a team.
