Forensic Programmer – SME (Job Number:439421)


SAIC is looking for Forensic Programmer who will be responsible for developing, deploying, and sustaining automated exploitation tools.

Job Tasks and Description:

- Collate requirements from digital forensic examiners and create software development plans. Develop new software to aid in digital forensic examination and integrate them within the
- Exploitation Ecosystem.
- Integrate new tools and tools provided from various commercial and government entities into the Exploitation Ecosystem
- Conduct testing and fielding of new tools, and upgrades to existing tools.
- Determine redundant systems and tools and optimize software processes used in the digital forensic examination of provided media.
- Conduct analysis of exploitation operations and requirements to create applications that satisfy the gaps in capabilities.
- Perform prototyping, applications tests, and code reviews to ensure programs are fully mission capable.


- Must have a current/active TS/SCI security clearance.


- At least 9+ years of recent programming experience.
- Proficiency in Python and Java Script.
- Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages, such as Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, Ruby, Pearl, JavaScript or Go.
- Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, and/or security software development.
- Working proficiency and communication skills.
- Knowledge in HTML/CSS and REST API's.
- Experience in Mongo DB.
- Experience in Flask and Angular 2.
- Expert in implementing successful high-performance multithreaded server application.
- Able to identify and apply the appropriate design and integration patterns to solve complex issues.

- BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
