Job Summary


We currently have a Senior Research Scientist position available in the Immunology department (molecular biology sub-group).


• Function as an independent Study Director

• Supervise the development and the validation of methods used in support of sample analysis for biodistribution and genotping studies

• Supervise the analysis in the laboratory

• Write reports and procedures to support sample analysis studies

• Ensure that projects are performed according to SOP and GLP

• Communicate with Sponsor for study related business

• Attend scientific meetings, symposia, or workshops at the discretion of the Scientific Director and Director of Laboratory Sciences.

• Assist to discussions with clients concerning upcoming studies


We are seeking a candidate who:

• Have a strong experience in molecular biology method development and troubleshooting (eg: nucleic acid extraction and purification, PCR, qPCR, genotyping and mRNA expression).

• Detain a PhD or MSC in, Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular Biology or a related scientific discipline, or have relevant experience.

• Have experience as a Research Scientist and have demonstrated performance exceeding the criteria for that position.

• Be computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel) and possess excellent communication, project management (including management of timelines), interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

• Posses GLP knowledge 

• Experience in the validation of molecular biology assays is an asset

• Fluency in French and English, spoken and written
