Cath Lab RN Job Details

• Location: Cedar Rapids, IA 52402
  
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab (EKG Unit)
  
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/29/2025 – End: 3/30/2026)
  
• Nursing Shift: Day shifts, 4x9 hour shifts/week (Start 7:00-7:30 AM, End 4:30-5:00 PM)
  
• Hours per Week: 36
  
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2410–$2580
  
• On-Call Rotation: 1 in 4 (as needed)
  
• Float: Cardiac & Vascular Holding Unit
  

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in Cardiac, Cath Lab, or Vascular nursing
  
• Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
  
• BLS certification (AHA required)
  
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
  
• TEE and Cardioversion experience required
  
• First-time travel nurses accepted with at least 3 years of relevant experience
  

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac and non-invasive cardiology procedures
  
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  
• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  
• Float to Cardiac & Vascular Holding Unit as needed
  
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent patient needs
  
• Accurately document patient care and procedures in EPIC EMR
