Purpose of Position

A District Head of Human Resources to drive and secure high quality, effectiveness and efficiency of all HR activities in the assigned District in close cooperation with the Area Head of HR.

Responsibilities

* Ensures the delivery of the people related elements of the company strategy in the District

* Acts as a Business Partner to the District Management

* Ensures that all relevant HR Policies, Procedures and Guidelines are implemented and followed

* Drives and ensures the Employee Engagement Process in the District

* Ensures compliance to local labor laws and escalates to District and Regional management when necessary.

* Source, identify, recruit and develop key talents to ensure that the organizational capability meets strategic business requirements

* Drives and ensures high quality and full adherence to the compensation & benefits process together with District Manager in accordance with external labor market competitiveness as well as internal consistency

* Drives and ensures the Performance Management Process and consolidation

* Supports and ensures training and development plans, succession planning, talent management and staff retention for all levels of employees in the District in close cooperation with Area Head of HR, District Manager and BU Managers

* Defines and ensures Key Capability (organization) and competence (individual) gaps of the top employees in the District and reports them to Area HR and District Manager

* Is responsible for ensuring FTE planning in line with organizational needs including expat requirements

* Supports local management with performance counseling of employees, preparation of performance improvement plans and progressive discipline

* Creates a high commitment work environment for the local HR team members

* Provides HR Key Figures to meet internal and external requirements (staff turnover, leave of absence, etc.).

* Ensures compliance with state and local law as well as the company's code of conduct

* Tasks as assigned by management

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications

* Diploma/Bachelor's degree preferable

* Minimum of seven years of Human Resources leadership experience (ten preferred)

* Profound Know-how in all the primary HR processes and concept

Competencies/Skills

* Proficient in MS Office

* Effective communications skills to work with all level of employee

* Strong interpersonal skill

* Good interviewing/behavioral assessment technique

* Conflict and change management skill

* Ability to work in a diverse and multi-cultural environment

* Ability to positively influence with integrity
