Utility Billing Coordinator

Indian Hills General Improvement District is currently accepting applications from qualified individuals for Utility Billing Coordinator.

Responsibilities under the Utility Billing Coordinator position include performing all aspects of water and sewer billing and all purchasing functions for the water, wastewater, parks & recreation, streets and administrative departments. Maintain District’s inventory control records. Performs various administrative support as necessary including scanning and maintenance of permanent files in laserfiche. Provide quality customer service over the phone and in person including the ability to respond to the public and others in a courteous and respectful manner, and the ability to diffuse customers who may be upset.

This is a full time position with benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance with premiums paid 100% for employee and 80% for dependents, vacation and sick leave and PERS. This position will report directly to the General Manager with hours set at 7:30AM-4:00PM, Monday-Friday with a starting hourly wage of $17.66, negotiable based on experience.
