    As a AIRCRAFT ELECTRICIAN, WG - 2892- 8/10/11 in the Electro Environmental Shop in the Component Repair Branch of the Aircraft Maintenance Squadron in an Air National Guard Wing, using F-15, F-16, F-22, F-35, A-10, C-17, aircraft. Analyzes malfunctions, troubleshoot, remove, install, repair, modify, maintain, test, align, calibrate and certify the components of the aircraft electrical system the electronically and pneumatically controlled environmental system, and associated test equipment.

    Responsibilities

    (1) Performs functional tests, analyzes performance and troubleshoots the electronic, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical functions of the subsystems integrated into the digital brake/antiskid system, maintenance annunciation panel (MAP) system of the integrated main generator, standby generator, emergency generator, flight control power, AC/DC power distribution and sub-systems integrated into the electronic/electrical and environmental systems.
    (2) Removes, repairs, calibrates, installs, aligns, inspects, and conducts operational performance checkouts on the components of the electronic/electrical and environmental systems. Analyzes malfunctions using schematics, logic and wiring diagrams, computer data, and factory drawings. Diagnoses circuit operating characteristics using on-board computer, special test equipment and laptop computers to isolates problems to the failing component.
    (3) Provides technical guidance, advice and/or assistance to other work centers on the interrelationship of electronic/electrical and environmental systems and their respective system, to include flight controls, offensive fire control radar, weapon release, communications, hydraulic, fuel, engine and egress.

    (4) Processes and accounts for supply assets in the repairable processing system to maintain aircraft records, inspection records, and equipment maintenance in computer systems (CAMS).
    (5) Performs other duties as assigned.

    MILITARY REQUIREMENTS :

    Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership.     Qualifications
    GENERAL and SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Your submitted documents will be reviewed for the competencies, knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the job duty listed above. Within your resume you will need to detail your capabilities. You will need to demonstrate 12 months experience (WG-08) / 18 months of experience (WG-10 or WG-11) which has shown work involving the installing, troubleshooting, adjusting, testing, modifying, calibrating, and repairing electrical systems and equipment on aircraft, missiles, test vehicles, and aircraft training devices. Experience or training which has provided a knowledge and skill in locating and tying in the electrical systems with the aircraft armament, electronics, and instrument systems; adjusting and calibrating the components of the various electrical systems; reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.along with the detailed specialized experience related to this position.
