The position is for a Consultant Dermatologist in the South London region.

The Position

Our client wishes to appoint a Consultant to lead the clinical provision of its Intermediate Dermatology Services. A full job description can be provided.

Clinical sessions will be held in community clinics, including skin surgery sessions, both independently and jointly with Dermatology GPwSIs. The work will be predominantly Tier 3 dermatology and skin cancer referrals, although some Tier 4 dermatology may be included depending upon specific service specification requirements and development.

The successful candidate will attend clinical governance meetings, review audit findings, provide peer support, and conduct teaching clinics with the Dermatology clinical team. They will also carry out clinical appraisals and participate in the re-accreditation process, providing Clinical Leadership for the Dermatology services.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Full GMC registration and on the Specialist Register
• Medical indemnity
• The right to work in the UK
• Current DBS certificate
• Prior experience in the UK is necessary
