Responsibilities

• Think critically, use decisive judgment, and work with minimal supervision.
• Work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Maintain full range of motion of upper and lower extremities.
• Move and lift patients and equipment up to 50 pounds, push equipment over 100 pounds; require eye‑hand coordination and corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges.
• Stand or walk for extended periods.
• Work under stressful conditions and irregular hours; potential exposure to communicable disease or body fluid requiring isolation precautions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an educational program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as an (R)(CT). Registry‑eligible new hires, cross‑training or transferring staff will be considered and must acquire valid CT registration within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum six (6) months experience performing CT procedures.

Facility Overview

Highpoint Health - Sumner with Ascension Saint Thomas is a 167‑bed Level III Trauma Center. The facility has expanded from 50 employees and seven physicians in 1959 to over 1,000 employees and 300 physicians today. Accredited by The Joint Commission, it is a major non‑government employer in Sumner County.
