Assisted Living Nurse (RN/LPN), Part-Time
Join Friendship Village STL, a premier Life Plan Community located in St. Louis, to provide exceptional resident care in our assisted living nursing facility.
Work schedule: Evenings: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Nights: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned staff and directly provide nursing care to residents as assigned.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, family/social activities and actively promote independent lifestyle of residents.
- Initiate the individual plan of care based on health care goals, physician’s orders and nursing assessments.
- Assist residents in and out of bed or wheelchair with proper transfer equipment.
- Record vital signs, nourishment logs, and other patient records as necessary.
- Ensure that the unit and resident room areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner for resident comfort and convenience.
- Maintain work area and keep the department in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Respond to all call lights promptly.
- Assist in assuring the maximum quality of life for all residents by maintaining privacy, accommodating individual preference, promoting independence, and encouraging participation in facility activities and events.
- Maintain continuous communication with physician and D.O.N.

Job Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license.
- CPR certification.
- Geriatric rehabilitation experience with a strong understanding of restorative nursing.
- In‑depth knowledge of best nursing practices, along with state and federal regulations.
