Overview
The role encompasses the management of maternal/child patient care through implementation of the nursing process, supervision of licensed and unlicensed personnel, and coordination of interdisciplinary care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education See License and Certifications.
- Experience None.
- Knowledge and Skills Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing. Able to work in a fast-paced environment; and manage/prioritize/delegate patient care, and complete work assignments and other duties, as assigned.
- License and Certifications Current nursing license, state of California. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card required by effective date of hire/start date. NRP within 3 months of hire/transfer into the unit. Basic fetal monitoring course within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Equipment None.
- Physical Requirements Must be able to perform the essential physical job requirements.
Pay Range: $47.90 - $71.84
