Hummingbird Speech Inc. is a boutique speech pathology clinic for individuals from birth to adulthood with mild to severe communication challenges. We were founded by a small group of speech therapists with 15+ years of combined experience.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will:
- Work with the Early Intervention population
- Conduct speech-language assessments to determine eligibility for speech services
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Provide training and education to family/caregivers
- Carry out goals provided from Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Keep detailed records of client condition, care plans, therapies, and progress
- Report client progress to appropriate parties
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology and licensure for the state of California
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Part-time (minimum of 5 hours per week)
- Position is for in-home services with occasional clients that request Telehealth therapy
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Excellent coaching and verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is beneficial but not required
- CFYs are welcome to apply
Pay is based on experience.
Home Health areas of service include: Bellflower, Norwalk, Artesia, Cerritos, Downey, Lakewood, Long Beach, and Torrance.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 40 hours per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- After school
- Choose your own hours
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- Master's (Required)
Experience:
- Early intervention: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CCC (Required)
- California SLP Licensure (Required)
Willingness to travel: 100% (Required)
