Job Summary

Highland Hospice is seeking a compassionate and results-oriented Clinical Marketer to promote our exceptional hospice services in the Houston community. With an active LVN or RN license, the Clinical Marketer will leverage their clinical expertise and marketing skills to build relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and families, driving patient referrals and increasing awareness of our compassionate end‑of‑life care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals (e.g., physicians, hospital discharge planners, nursing homes, assisted living facilities) to generate referrals for Highland Hospice.
  • Conduct outreach to community organizations, senior centers, and local groups to educate them about hospice care and our services.
  • Provide clear, empathetic education to referral sources and families on hospice eligibility, benefits, and Highland Hospice’s commitment to quality care.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure a smooth transition for patients and families from referral to admission.
  • Represent Highland Hospice at community events, health fairs, and professional networking opportunities in the Houston area.
  • Track referral data, analyze trends, and report outcomes to leadership to support growth strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of marketing activities using CRM software.
  • Stay informed on hospice industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Active LVN or RN license in the state of Texas (required).
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel (required).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with healthcare professionals and families.
  • Proven ability to generate referrals and meet outreach goals.
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of the Houston healthcare market and community resources.
  • Experience presenting to diverse audiences, including medical professionals and community groups.
  • Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid regulations related to hospice care.
