Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac PCU - Float Pool

Location: Nashville, TN – Ascension Saint Thomas West

Schedule: PRN; 12‑hour shifts; Minimum 3, 6, or 10 shifts per 6‑week schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Implies and monitors patient care plans; monitors, records, and communicates patient condition.
• Serves as a coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient’s care needs with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
