Job Description
Our company is seeking a motivated individual to work as a bioanalytical bench scientist within its Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) bioanalytical laboratory. This position is part of the Bioanalytical group, Global Preclinical Development, based in Rahway, New Jersey. The main responsibilities include:
- Development, validation and implementation of LC-MS/MS assays for the analysis of tissue, plasma and other biological samples to support pharmacokinetic, toxicokinetic, clinical efficacy and/or human food safety studies in a GLP environment, with duties inclusive of, but not limited to, extracting tissue and plasma samples, setting up instrument analysis, and processing and interpreting LC-MS/MS data;
- Assurance that notebooks and other documentations are up-to-date as per GLP regulations and departmental guidelines;
- Preparation of validation and sample analysis reports under the supervision of study directors or principal investigators; assist study directors or principal investigators on all study-related tasks;
- Compliance with and maintenance of required training for company and departmental SOPs, safety‑related guidance and other guidelines as relevant/applicable;
- Adherence to short‑term goals, objectives and timelines agreed upon with management, and study directors/principal investigators via working independently (e.g., with little to no management oversight in this regard);
- Interaction with partners in other functional lines, such as Drug Safety and Metabolism, Quality Assurance, and program management, under the supervision of management and/or principal investigators/study directors;
- Troubleshooting assays when problems arise;
- Any relevant/applicable additional BA assignments as directed by management;
- Ability to multi‑task and be a team player.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Educational Requirement
- BS or MS degree in chemistry, biochemistry or related scientific discipline with at least three years of industrial experience, preferably in a bioanalytical laboratory.
Required Experience and Skills
- Experience developing, validating and implementing LC‑MS/MS methods under GLP;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience in Watson or other LIMS systems;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Highly motivated individual with the aspiration to learn and develop;
- Experience in residue bioanalysis.

Employment Details
- Salary range: $85,600.00 – $134,800.00 (as of posting date).
- Location: Rahway, New Jersey (Hybrid work model: three on‑site days per week, Friday remote).
