Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse – District Nursing within our North Ayrshire District Nursing teams based at Bourtreehill Health Centre.
What You Will Do
- Assess the care needs of community clients and develop, implement, and evaluate nursing programmes of care for a variety of client groups.
- Manage the caseload in the absence of the district nursing Charge Nurse, including supervising and redeploying staff.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification in nursing essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work on initiative and as a lone worker within a variety of community settings.
- Evidence of personal development and willingness to undertake appropriate training.
Hours and Shift Pattern
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a weekend commitment. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
Driving Licence
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential to this role.
