AWS Cloud Engineer – Onsite (NJ) | Dec 1 Start
Location: Onsite – New Jersey
Start Date: Dec 1st (Immediate Priority)
Duration: Dec 1 – May 31 (Extension expected)
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and operate a new AWS cloud environment aligned with cloud standards.
- Implement and configure AWS Control Tower, AWS Config, IAM, and security guardrails.
- Develop and maintain VPC networking, routing, and multi-account structures.
- Use CloudFormation, Terraform, and other IaC tools to automate provisioning.
- Support DevOps activities including CI/CD, deployments, and cloud operations.
- Apply cloud-native tooling (instead of XBOT) for management and governance.
- Provide day-to-day cloud engineering, troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with AWS Services Architecture
- AWS Control Tower, AWS Config, Landing Zone experience
- IAM expertise: SCP, IDC, Identity, Policy management
- AWS networking: VPCs, subnets, routing, peering, security groups
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform & CloudFormation
- Hands‑on DevOps experience (pipelines, deployments, automation)
- Python scripting for automation and tooling
- Ability to work onsite in New Jersey full‑time

- This is an onsite role – no remote option.
- Need candidates who can join immediately or by Dec 1st without delays.
- Long‑term continuity expected through extension after the initial phase.
