We are actively hiring a Language Enabled Cyber Threat Analyst with Mandarin Chinese to join our Intelligence Division in Northern Virginia. As a member of the program team, you will support a cyber intelligence mission by providing language, cultural, analytic (including targeting), and operational support services.

Responsibilities

• Utilize targeting tools and databases to collect intelligence for analysis and targeting reports.
• Apply network analysis techniques and tools to identify key figures and organizations.
• Scan and accurately process/analyze large amounts of material.
• Analyze disparate intelligence and extract meaning or relevance.
• Apply expert knowledge of regional cyber intelligence threats, TIPs, etc.
• Provide translation services: translating written electronic and multimedia material from the source language to English, including social media, business, legal, and technical documents.
• Generate products such as translations, targeting reports, briefing materials, and cables.

Required Education & Experience

• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Score ILR Level 4 or higher in translating from the source language to English (speaking not required; listening may be a requirement).
• Bachelor of Science degree or two additional years of related professional experience on projects of similar scope.
• Minimal CONUS/OCONUS travel possible on a case-by-case basis.
• Minimum of 1 year all-source analysis experience with national intelligence agencies or DoD supporting foreign threat assessments; 5-8 years of experience preferred.
• Experience translating and gisting general and technical material from Chinese to English.
• Thorough understanding of Intelligence Community (IC) guidelines and directives.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IC tools and software, Computer-Assisted Translation, and Terminology Management Databases.
