Business System Analyst at Insight Global
Insight Global is seeking a Business System Analyst to support and optimize a client's business application systems with a strong focus on ERP platforms such as PeopleSoft Financials and Oracle Financials. This role involves daily production support, implementing enhancements, upgrading existing systems, and contributing to the successful implementation of a new Oracle Cloud platform. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth transitions and driving process improvements across financial operations.
Base Pay Range
$70.00/hr - $80.00/hr

Key Responsibilities
- System Design & Modification: Initiate, design, and modify complex financial systems and procedures. Develop technical specifications for systems with broad organizational impact.
- Business Requirement Analysis: Partner with Accounting and Supply Chain teams to analyze requirements and design solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- System Integration: Perform complex analysis of integration issues and maintain interface specifications between ERP and third‑party systems.
- Project Management: Lead project management activities for large‑scale initiatives, including user support and training for new applications.
- ERP Implementation: Participate in system design discussions and support integration of Financials (Fixed Assets, GL, AR/AP, Cash Management) within the new Oracle Cloud platform. Provide insights into best practices and process optimization.
Qualifications
- 4+ years as a Business Systems Analyst; higher education or healthcare industry experience is a plus.
- 2+ years in ERP Financials implementations (Oracle ERP Cloud, PeopleSoft, Workday, or Oracle R12)
- 4+ years with Oracle Cloud Financials
- Familiarity and/or experience with PeopleSoft Financials
- Strong experience with relational databases, SQL, and system development life cycle projects
- Excellent project leadership and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences
