Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Program Engineer with a strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering to lead and support mission-critical infrastructure projects. This role is essential for managing chillers, water cooling systems, and controls—key components of our new data center builds featuring advanced water cooling racks.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical systems design, installation, and commissioning for data center construction projects.
- Interpret and manage blueprints, technical documents, and specifications related to cooling infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, construction, and operations to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to field engineers and contractors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical systems engineering.
- Proven expertise in chillers, water cooling systems, and mechanical controls.
- Strong blueprint and technical documentation skills.
- Experience in data center environments or similarly complex infrastructure projects.
Preferred Experience
- Background in hospital or pharmaceutical industrial projects with complex mechanical systems.
- Career progression from field engineering to construction management or project/program engineering.
- Familiarity with mission-critical systems and high-reliability environments.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
