JOB SUMMARY:
Systems Administrators are knowledgeable in common networking technologies. They typically possess an intermediate level of expertise and demonstrate strong soft skills, serving as points of contact with clients. Effective communication, promptness, and the ability to manage client issues are essential. They should be skilled in pre-project briefings and capable of successfully integrating and troubleshooting environments with Windows Server, Exchange, IIS, VPNs, firewalls, and backup systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Meet daily time entry standards
- Provide accurate time estimates for tasks
- Complete documentation such as time entries, tickets, and walkthroughs
- Assist in small projects and support Senior Administrators on larger projects
- Quickly learn new technologies through self-study and research
- Develop soft skills to interact effectively with clients
- Understand that individual success is linked to team success
- Follow directions from Administrators, Senior Administrators, and Managers
- Own tasks and ensure their resolution
- Maintain quality of work and take responsibility for it
OTHER DUTIES:
Perform any other duties as assigned by team leads or management.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Candidates should be able to troubleshoot basic network issues, utilize Event Logs, troubleshoot hardware, manage server permissions, access network resources, and use tools like VSS and Datto for backups. A workstation-level certification is required. Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, PowerShell, and deploying Allworx phones is necessary. Preferred candidates have at least 2 years of MSP experience and can master the role within 3-7 years.
Soft skills for client interaction and independent problem research are essential. A helpful attitude towards all problems, simple or complex, is expected.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to sit for long periods, use manual dexterity for phone and data entry, see and read screens and documents, hear and speak clearly, understand instructions, and lift up to 25 pounds. Work is primarily performed in an office environment, with accommodations available for disabilities.
