Job Title: Cloud Data Services Engineer

Location: Tampa, FL | Remote options available for Chicago, NYC, CT, Dallas, or Nashville

Duration: Permanent (Full-Time), open for C2H

The Client Solutions group reports to the office of the Deputy CIO for Technology and is responsible for delivering DevOps services that accelerate the delivery of both revenue-generating and internal applications. The DevOps CoE supports business-led software development while implementing best practices to streamline and automate the release management pipeline.

• Support a fast-paced, high-performance team in Cloud Data Services.
• Possess hands-on experience with SQL Server Data Architecture/Engineering and apply these skills to Cloud Data Services such as Azure DocumentDB, Azure Blob Storage, HDInsight, NoSQL, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with database infrastructure in Public and Private Cloud environments.
• Design, configure, backup/restore, monitor performance, troubleshoot, test, and deploy code for Cloud Data Services (PaaS & IaaS).
• Embrace DevOps philosophies to enable rapid development and deployment, continuous integration/delivery, automated quality checks, and operational metrics for development teams.
• Plan, document procedures, and coordinate Cloud Data Services activities.

Qualifications

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience with Microsoft SQL Server and NoSQL technologies; 1 year of database administration for Cloud applications.

- 1 to 3 years of experience in a complex production support environment, providing performance tuning and troubleshooting support. Equivalent academic experience will be considered.

- Experience with database performance monitoring tools such as Spotlight.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or relevant experience and accomplishments.
