Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Technical Administrator to help manage and optimize our SharePoint environment. This 3rd level support team is responsible for strategy, design, and support of three main products: SharePoint Subscription Edition, SharePoint Online and Viva Engage. This role involves ensuring system operations are efficient and resilient while meeting needs, as well as introducing new capabilities and features through iterative product lifecycle and innovation work. The ideal candidate will work closely with users and strategic business partners to gather requirements, enhance functionality, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive product maturity.
Key Responsibilities
- System Operations and Support: Oversee and support the daily operations of SharePoint products and ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Risk and Vulnerability Management: Engage in ongoing risk assessments and vulnerability identification and mitigation activities to ensure a secure on‑premises and cloud SharePoint environment.
- Innovation: Regularly engage in innovation work by conducting industry research and regular interactions with vendors/consultants to enhance existing products, bring in new features, and new hardware/software.
- User Interaction: Engage directly with users and strategic business partners to understand their requirements, pain points, and suggestions for improvements.
- Optimization and Resilience: Continuously monitor and assess the platform’s performance, implementing necessary changes to enhance proactive monitoring, efficiency and resilience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including developers, infrastructure engineers, business partners such as facilities management and design, and service delivery to facilitate product improvements and resolve issues.
- Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, processes, and product changes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with support and management of SharePoint or similar infrastructure technologies.
- Experience with collaboration/document management technology design and best practices.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of network technologies and concepts.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ability to take full ownership of assignments, delegating where applicable to ensure timely completion.

Summary
- Potential starting salary range: $95,800 – $148,000
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience.
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience.
- Potential yearly incentive pay up to 18% of base salary.
