NCDOT is seeking a SharePoint Product Specialist contractor for the Engineering Content Management group who will be responsible for development of business requirements, design of SharePoint and web-based business solutions and related materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop business requirements.
• Design SharePoint and web-based business solutions and related materials.

Required/Desired Skills

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Product Specialist — Required
• 2 Years Experience in Quality Assurance testing — Required
• Proven knowledge of NCDOT business processes — Required
• SharePoint Designer role experience with Microsoft SharePoint lists, libraries and content types — Required
• Designing and testing SharePoint and web based content management solutions — Required
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills — Required
• Positive interpersonal skills — Required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to explain business processes to IT users and IT applications to business users — Required
• Excellent organizational and presentation skills — Required
• Strong Microsoft Suite experience (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) — Required
• Proven experience evaluating business processes and re-engineering — Required
• Proven experience writing clear and concise technical training materials and other user documentation — Required
• Working knowledge of application development life cycle — Required
• Knowledge of NCDOT Preconstruction business processes — Highly desired
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SharePoint as a designer — Highly desired
• Experience with AGILE development methodology — Highly desired
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Azure DevOps tool suite — Highly desired
• Experience with Balsamiq — Desired
