Electrologist Laser Hair Removal Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Electrologist to join our team at Eye Candy Laser & Wellness Sarasota location. The Electrologist will be responsible for providing laser hair removal services, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and professional environment. You will work closely with our clients to address their hair removal needs, delivering high-quality treatments that align with the spa's standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide Electrology Treatments: Perform laser hair removal, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction.
• Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs, explain the laser process, and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Client Care: Ensure a comfortable and relaxing environment for clients during their treatments, addressing any concerns and providing education on aftercare.
• Sanitation and Safety: Adhere to strict sanitation protocols and maintain cleanliness in treatment areas, equipment, and tools.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes, progress, and any relevant information.
• Client Retention: Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering professional advice, aftercare instructions, and follow-up appointments.
• Adhere to Licensing Regulations: Comply with all local and state regulations, including those related to health, safety, and licensing.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other spa professionals, including sales reps, treatment specialists, and spa managers, to provide a seamless and positive client experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrologist in Florida, with a valid electrology license.
• English and Spanish is preferred (must be comfortable working in a multi-lingual environment).
• Proven experience in performing laser hair removal treatments and a strong understanding of hair removal procedures.
• Knowledge of skin types, hair growth patterns, and the laser hair removal process.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures to clients and make them feel at ease.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality services.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to health and safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Med Spa or salon environment.
• Bilingual (English, etc.) is a plus.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Comfortable spa setting with a focus on client wellness and relaxation.
• Work in a Multi-Lingual environment.
• Full-time positions.
• Hours: 40 hours (8 hour shifts), Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00am–6:00pm, Lunch: 1:00pm–2:00pm.
• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 40 per week
