Base Salary: $124,344 – $146,288 per year (actual pay based on skills and experience).

Key Responsibilities

• Defining and representing the fundamental structure of systems, system components, their relationships, and interfaces and the interface between the system and its external environment.
• Defining safety critical systems’ requirements and documenting the requirements with the aid of requirements management tools.
• Aligning the requirements decomposition activities with the system architecture, and supporting architecture analysis and trades.
• Refining requirements based on VoC sessions, quality incident tickets, and technology improvements.
• Defining system boundaries, inputs/outputs, data flows, and capturing processing needs.
• Creating and reviewing system Verification/Validation tests to ensure full requirements coverage.
• Conducting Robust Design reviews including DFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and product safety reviews.
• Managing multiple engineering projects or processes across engineering disciplines.
• Performing difficult or complex engineering activities, and creating standard work for common procedures.
• Creating and implementing common procedures and standards for routine work across the organization.
• Managing system engineering deliverables on large scale, complex, or significant engineering projects, from start to finish, to be completed on time and within budget.
• Utilizing knowledge of emerging technologies, participating in conducting technology assessments and conceptualizing emerging technology strategy.
• Participating in assessment of current tools & technologies and making recommendations for improvement.
• Reviewing and mentoring others' technical reports, publications, and presentations.
• Being able to succinctly document and present business cases for projects.
• Submitting articles to technical publications, and volunteering to speak at conferences.
• Supporting customer documentation.
• Monitoring and evaluating industry initiatives, changes in policy, technology and other trends that may have business impact.
• Creating leading‑edge solutions which combine advanced knowledge of several business theories and disciplines.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of engineering experience preferably in systems engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASEP/CSEP certification would be an added advantage.
• Knowledgeable in System Architecture, UML, SysML, DFMEA, Pugh Matrix, Requirements Management, QFDs and related tools such as R4J/ease Requirements, Modelio, Jira, Confluence, and Visio.
• Programming skills in C/C++, C#, Java, Python, or any development language is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $124,344–$146,288. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and the company’s performance. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as it relates to the job requirements.
