We're thrilled to expand our team and are searching for a talented Retail Store Manager to help us continue our journey of elevating the 5 to 9. As the Retail Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading Cozy Earth's initial store opening in Del Mar Highlands (San Diego). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking venture as we expand our physical presence. You will be responsible for creating a unique in-store experience that reflects our brand's values and mission while managing all aspects of store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Store Launch & Management : Oversee the opening of Cozy Earth's retail store in San Diego, ensuring all aspects of the launch are executed flawlessly.
• Talent Acquisition: Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team that embodies the Cozy Earth culture and delivers exceptional customer experiences.
• Team Leadership: Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to store staff to foster a collaborative and motivated work environment.
• Sales & Customer Service : Drive sales performance through effective merchandising, customer engagement, and promotional activities.
• Operations: Manage daily store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with headquarters in Utah to align store operations with company goals and initiatives. Provide feedback and insights to drive continuous improvement.
• Community Engagement: Build strong relationships within the local community to enhance brand visibility and drive store traffic.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role in a luxury or premium retail environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
• Knowledge of California labor laws and retail compliance requirements.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and stocking.

This role offers a combination of base salary and commission, with a base salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 per year. Actual base pay offered may vary based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications. This position is eligible for additional compensation in the form of a commission, depending on factors including store performance.
