We are seeking an experienced Armed Security Officer with an active U.S. government-issued security clearance. As a Cleared Security Officer, you will handle sensitive information and protect personnel and property. You will receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols, supporting your professional growth in the security field.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
- Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot to ensure safety and security.
- Ensure employees, visitors, and contractors are properly cleared and possess security badges; follow site-specific manuals and report concerns or breaches.
- Protect property, materials, equipment, and information from threats such as terrorism, sabotage, espionage, intrusion, and criminal acts.
- Respond to security and emergency alarms.
- Act as a first responder during emergencies.
Requirements and Conditions of Employment
- Must be a US Citizen.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- Active U.S. government security clearance required.
- Valid Massachusetts carry license prior to employment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Intermediate computer skills for access control systems and database searches.
