Job Functions
- Treatment and prevention of general dermatology, specializing in the treatment and care for patients of general dermatology disorders in the outpatient settings throughout UHealth
- Provide high quality medical care to patients with general dermatology conditions
- Conduct examinations, assess and evaluate symptoms, determine conditions, and prescribe medical treatment or services
- Train/mentor residents and fellows to increase their clinical knowledge and interest/success with academic research
- Preparation and presentation at teaching conferences
- Obtain data and results that can be used to submit an application for future clinical research awards
- Provide coverage on inpatient service/telehealth service for the cruise lines as needed
- Oversee mid-level medical staff as assigned
Education & Certification
- MD Degree
- Fully trained in Dermatology - board-certified or board-eligible
- Valid Florida medical license
- Valid DEA license
- BLS/ACLS certified
Experience & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience working with multidisciplinary clinical and research teams, in teaching, and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The candidate must be able to work efficiently and independently as part of a collaborative group.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes
- Valid Florida medical license
- Valid DEA license
- BLS/ACLS certification
