The University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics, is seeking a Research Assistant Professor.
General Description: The candidate will manage research projects focused on restoring functional ability and improving quality of life for children with physical impairments or disabilities. The role may include lecturing, demonstrations, and collaboration across UM schools to advance research, knowledge, training, and education.
Qualifications: Experience with multidisciplinary research, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential. The candidate should have a record of publications and presentations at national meetings, indicating recognition in their field.
Primary Duties:
- Publish in quality journals and demonstrate leadership through authorship.
- Present research at national conferences.
- Support research activities at the university.
- Supervise research staff if required.
- Lead in basic and applied research, authoring reports and publications.
This is a full-time faculty position with the potential to support research activities and collaborate across departments.
