Overview

Design and report on water/wastewater industry projects, present to municipal clients, mentor junior staff, and develop technical expertise through collaboration and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Write technical reports on water/wastewater industry issues.
• Design civil components for water/wastewater treatment facilities.
• Present to municipal clients and regional stakeholders.
• Develop technical skills through expert collaboration, writing articles, and attending conferences.
• Mentor junior staff via structured mentoring, work assignments, and technical reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Certification as Engineer in Training (EIT) or passing Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam within 18 months of hire.
• 5 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry (or equivalent civil engineering design experience).
• Experience presenting technical concepts to municipal clients through reports and presentations.
• Basic understanding of the design process from conceptual to construction phase.
• Knowledge of CADD practices and municipal bidding design documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Domestic/international travel may be required.

Pay range: $41.00 - $68.00/hr.
