About the Job

The University of Minnesota's Medical School, Department of Urology, invites applications for a renewable 12-month (100%) faculty position. Candidates with expertise in engineering applications to neuro or functional urology are preferred, though others will also be considered.

The primary responsibilities include:

1. Developing and maintaining independent, externally-funded research programs related to engineering and urology.
2. Collaborating with clinical faculty on research design, analysis, reporting, publishing, and grant applications.

The candidate must be able to manage both independent and collaborative projects, work effectively in team settings, and develop stakeholder relationships to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

Applicants should have attained the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor, hold a PhD, MD, or equivalent degree, and demonstrate scholarly expertise in engineering applications to urology. The ability to maintain a federally funded research program is essential.
