Position Details

Title: Adjunct Faculty, Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy

Department: School of Education and Behavior Sciences

Type: Exempt, Part-time

Responsibilities

• Teach up to one course per 10-week term in the DMFT program.
• Prepare course materials, assess student performance, and foster an engaging learning environment.
• Stay current with developments in DMFT and incorporate new knowledge into teaching.
• Attend departmental meetings and faculty development activities.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related discipline.
• At least five years of related experience.
• Professional license or credential.

Skills and Abilities

• Specialization in clinical research, healthcare program development, or related areas.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, learning management systems, and educational technology.

Physical and Other Requirements

Light office work; ability to lift 20 pounds; flexibility for occasional evening/weekend work; adherence to safety and university policies; support for Marianist values and respect for Native Hawaiian and Pacific Island communities.

Additional Details

This is a part-time, exempt position, approximately 19 hours/week, with potential schedule variations. Willingness to work evenings/weekends and perform related duties is required.
