Responsibilities:

Support multi-media regulatory reporting and compliance ( Title V, EI’s, MACT’s, SPCC, Tier II, TRI’s, NPDES, RCRA, etc.).
Audit, support, and maintain compliance with ISO 14001 environmental management systems.
Perform facility and equipment inspections at two facilities in the Great DFW Metroplex.
Provide Corporate periodic reports regarding environmental projects and compliance KPI’s - act as a liaison metrics. Develop recommendations for environmental processes/programs/equipment to meet and improve the environmental compliance program and EMS. As an example, support carbon reduction planning and program implementation.
Evaluate changes to production processes, pollution control equipment, regulations, and raw materials to determine permitting, reporting, and KPI implications.
Develop and train employees on environmental programs and compliance.
Respond to emergency situations as needed basis.
Enter data into regulatory databases such as CDX and STEERS
Monitor compliance data to verify compliance with regulations and provide countermeasures if needed.
Support product compliance with regulations (e.g. REACH, Prop65, CBAM, etc.).

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in environmental or chemical engineering and 5+ years of related experience; or a master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience
Working knowledge of SAP, database management, internet/intranet use, and Microsoft Office programs
Ability to read and interpret federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
High degree of verbal and written communication skills to effectively interface with upper management, employees, contractors, and regulators.
Physical ability to remain standing and walking for extended periods of time and to climb stationary ladders.
