Vice President | Engineering & EHS Workforce Solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Support multi-media regulatory reporting and compliance ( Title V, EI’s, MACT’s, SPCC, Tier II, TRI’s, NPDES, RCRA, etc.).
  • Audit, support, and maintain compliance with ISO 14001 environmental management systems.
  • Perform facility and equipment inspections at two facilities in the Great DFW Metroplex.
  • Provide Corporate periodic reports regarding environmental projects and compliance KPI’s - act as a liaison metrics. Develop recommendations for environmental processes/programs/equipment to meet and improve the environmental compliance program and EMS. As an example, support carbon reduction planning and program implementation.
  • Evaluate changes to production processes, pollution control equipment, regulations, and raw materials to determine permitting, reporting, and KPI implications.
  • Develop and train employees on environmental programs and compliance.
  • Respond to emergency situations as needed basis.
  • Enter data into regulatory databases such as CDX and STEERS
  • Monitor compliance data to verify compliance with regulations and provide countermeasures if needed.
  • Support product compliance with regulations (e.g. REACH, Prop65, CBAM, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in environmental or chemical engineering and 5+ years of related experience; or a master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience
  • Working knowledge of SAP, database management, internet/intranet use, and Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to read and interpret federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • High degree of verbal and written communication skills to effectively interface with upper management, employees, contractors, and regulators.
  • Physical ability to remain standing and walking for extended periods of time and to climb stationary ladders.
