Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for an inpatient rehab position requiring a WI or compact RN license and medical surgical or rehab experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 12-bed inpatient rehab unit within a hospital setting
- Primary patient populations include stroke, trauma, debility, amputation, and cardiac cases
- Patient ratios are 1:4-1:6 on PM shift and 1:8 on nights
- Float to all inpatient units as needed
- 12-hour variable shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation
- Epic charting preferred
- Candidates must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility
- No on-call or call back requirements
- Scrub colors are flexible; any color is acceptable
- Travelers must be hard working, resilient, able to manage change, and socially confident
- Holiday rotation is required
- Set weekly hours are guaranteed except during holidays or orientation week when the unit may be closed
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting required
- Medical surgical or rehab experience preferred
- Rehab knowledge required
