Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of recent experience and ARRT certification for outpatient breast imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient breast care imaging department
- Performs mammograms, breast ultrasound, bone density, and breast biopsy procedures
- Day shift schedule, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call required
- Uses Cerner EMR system; Cerner experience preferred
- Responsible for performing diagnostic breast imaging and assisting with biopsy procedures
- Must be able to work either Christmas Day or New Year's Day, and either Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve
- RTO must be requested upfront; requests after offer are not allowed
- Returning staff must have a 2-year break before being considered as a traveler
- Scrubs or dress code is not specified
- First-time travelers will be considered
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in mammography
- Current BLS certification required
- ARRT certification required
- License required if applicable
- Must be able to work day shifts and major/minor holidays as outlined
- Applicants must live at least 50 miles from the facility
