• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
  
• Start Date: December 22, 2025
  
• End Date: March 15, 2026
  
• Duration: 13-week contract
  
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
  
• Hours per Week: 36 hours
  
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1990 - $2130
  
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday required
  
• Orientation: 2-3 days
  

ICU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Maine or compact state
  
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
  
• At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
  
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
  
• PALS certification preferred (can be obtained if not currently held)
  
• Experience with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication systems preferred
  
• Ability to float to Med-Surg units as needed
  

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to intermediate/critical care and Med-Surg overflow patients (respiratory, cardiac, sepsis, COVID, diabetic, adult/geriatric, and occasional pediatric patients)
  
• Manage IV drips, IV pumps, ventilators, cardiac monitors, and blood transfusions
  
• Perform ICU procedures: starting IVs, venipuncture, EKGs, infusions, phlebotomy, patient transports, and weaning protocols
  
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists and ancillary healthcare staff
  
• Accurately document patient care in Epic EMR
  
• Follow hospital dress code: any color scrubs, clean closed-toe shoes, minimal jewelry, neat hair/beard, no artificial/acrylic nails
  
• Participate in team and primary nursing care models
