Job Description — X-Ray/CT Technologist (With Contrast Injection)
Location: Auburn, NY
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule Options:
Fri or Mon/Sat/Sun — 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Sat/Sun/Mon — 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Call: Required
Position Overview
A facility in Auburn, NY is seeking a New York–licensed X-ray/CT Technologist capable of performing contrast injections and starting their own IVs. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in both modalities and be able to work independently within a busy imaging environment.
Requirements
Licensure & Certifications
NYS License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT)
ARRT (CT) certification — Required
BLS — Required
Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program (CT)
Experience
Minimum 2 years of X-ray/CT experience
Must be competent with contrast injections
Must be able to start IVs independently
Mandatory Pre-Start Requirement
2 CEUs on a Stroke-related topic — must be completed prior to start
Equipment & Systems
Philips CT/X-ray equipment
Fuji Synapse PACS system
Paragon (Citrix Product) for documentation and workflow
Facility Notes
Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts at no cost over the 13-week assignment
Call coverage is required
