Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Mississippi or compact state)
  
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  
• STABLE certification
  
• Minimum 1 year of recent Level II Nursery RN experience
  
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse requirement)
  

Nursery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to newborns in a Level II Nursery environment
  
• Monitor, assess, and document infants’ vital signs and progress
  
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
  
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
  
• Educate and support families on newborn care and discharge planning
  
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
