Job Purpose

he incumbent will be reporting to a Senior Manager Business Analyst and will work in a multidisciplinary development project team environment which includes IT&S staff, business / operations teams, partners in other geographies and external vendors, to ensure that all assigned projects or assigned tasks within projects are thoroughly, accurately and timely completed while at the same time providing a valuable and consistent experience for the customer. The activities may include detailed documentation of requirements for systems changes, functional testing, detailed review and documentation of process workflows, instructions to users (i.e., manual updates, job aids, circulars, etc.), partnering with Development to ensure system requirements are realized, assisting with implementation, assisting with testing requirements and transition to the maintenance function. The incumbent will ensure the end to end process is fully analyzed and documented which includes all delivery channels and affected processing units. The incumbent will interact on occasion with management within service, product, development, research and review and delivery areas in the execution of projects. The incumbent also provides a high level of professional service to customers (both internal and external).

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Conduct automation QA testing for AML and Regulatory Reporting initiatives.
  • Participate in development and business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
  • Configure automation test cases.
  • Create and run data queries upon request.
  • Conduct data analysis for data consumers. 
  • Participate in completing project documentations.
  • Tracking work assignments, status & reporting 

 

Functional Competencies

  • Working experience with automation testing.
  • Working knowledge of databases such as SQL Server and able to create and run queries on their own
  • Working knowledge of Cognos/SAS/Data Stage is desireable.
  • Working knowledge of MS Access.
  • Hands-on technical working experience with ETL, Hadoop and big data is desired.
  • Knowledge of Agile framework working patterns is desired.
  • Hands on experience with cloud environments is desired.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Must have strong focus on customer needs and result focus.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills.
  • Self-initiated, fast learner with a positive attitude and a strong desire to acquire new knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and people skills.

 

Education/Experience

  • University or college degree in a related discipline (Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology) or equivalent work experience
