Associate Brand Manager - Marvel

 We’re looking for one of Earth’s Mightiest Marketers to join the Hasbro Marvel Global Brand Team

We have an immediate need for a results-oriented, innovative global product & consumer marketer to drive key initiatives for our high-profile MARVEL brand. A strong candidate possesses both a genuine passion for Marvel comics, films, toys and collectibles as well as a strategic marketing acumen.  In conjunction with the objectives set in the global brand strategy, you will:

 

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute key brand initiatives, including finding innovative ways to grow Marvel fan/collector business & value channel businesses.
  • Drive product innovation to meet evolving consumer demands of kids and fans of all ages.
  • Create differentiated channel-specific product solutions for global retailers.
  • Leverage creative thinking and consumer insights to drive breakthrough product innovation.
  • Adopt, embrace and embody the Marvel fan consumer mindset in all facets of strategic thinking, product development and marketing executions.
  • Assist in development of overall go-to-market product strategy.
  • Assist in development of primary assets for digital marketing, advertising, PR and other marketing communications.
  • Become the global consumer insights and competitive market expert for your business.

 

A day in the life as an Associate Manager, Global Brand Development & Marketing:

Under the general direction of the Global Brand Leader and senior team, you will:

  • Drive product innovations leveraging creative thinking and consumer insights through the system to better meet/exceed consumer demands.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute key brand initiatives, including finding innovative ways to grow the business.
  • Partner with core Action Teams to drive consistent full brand initiatives and complementary product strategy. 
  • Partner with international market leads to deliver best in class brand plans, prioritizing initiatives across the portfolio
  • Assist in development of overall go-to-market product strategy.
  • Assist in development of primary assets for advertising and other marketing communications.
  • Become the global consumer insights and competitive market expert segment and leverage learnings on product line.

 

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience supporting a fully integrated marketing program.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field.
  • MBA preferred (Additional work experience in lieu of MBA considered).
  • Knowledge of the steps necessary to bring products to market.
  • Understanding of implementing a fully integrated marketing program.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally.
  • Ability to make informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track.
  • Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously under tight time constraints.
  • Well developed, verbal, written and dynamic presentation skills.
  • Creative and strategic thinking.
  • Business and financial acumen including analytical skills.
  • Digital-first mindset to contribute to expanding social media initiatives and fan-targeted campaigns.
  • Ability to be agile and flexible in thinking.
  • Motivated self-starter who is able to creatively solve problems and maximize available resources.
