T&C Technical Support/Proposal Manager

Maintain oversight of project startup execution including technical aspects, schedule and cost.  Perform project Testing & Commissioning quality assessments and readiness reviews and managed Testing and Commissioning quality initiatives. Provide technical support to projects in execution and to other functions as required.  Provide support for proposal development. Develop new department procedures and implemented revisions to existing procedures and implement new Testing and Commissioning programs. Review qualifications of and interview potential candidates to fill open positions.  Support other department initiatives and special projects as required.  Assisting projects in execution through remote support and/or in the field.

 

Additional responsibilities include:

 

1.  Provide support to ongoing Six Sigma PIPs presenting Startup's point
of view.
2.  Develop or enhance estimating tools (Schedule comparison template,
Consumable template).
3.  Assist in Six Sigma Institutional activities.
4.  Assist projects in execution through remote support or in the field,
as required.
5.  Assist functional staffing with college recruiting.
6.  Review and enhance functional procedures.
7.  Prepare a Rail Specific T&C procedures

Basic Qualifications:

-A recognized degree in an engineering or scientific discipline or
specialized courses in an engineering discipline, engineering design and
practice. Three years of experience related to Testing and Commissioing of Rail Projects
-A minimum of 5 years of Startup/Commissioning experience is required.
-Right to work and remain in the U.S.
