Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Job Purpose:

 

Provide full life cycle recruiting support for the Talent Acquisition Team. This will include systems support (ATS, pre-employment background and TA tools), weekly reporting support, and hiring process coordination to ensure the highest level of candidate and internal customer experience.  The ideal candidate for the position will have passion for the Talent Acquisition Coordinator role and the value it brings to the organization and TA team.  The ideal candidate will also be customer focused, have enthusiasm for managing the details and adding value through continuous improvement.  This person will work well independently and collaborate effectively as a team.

 

Primary Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Facilitate and manage pre-employment background check process, including daily updates and monitoring to ensure efficient processing. 
  • Post all positions to appropriate posting boards and social media sites; monitor their effectiveness and manage expiration dates.  Provide recommendations on new sites to try for tough-to-fill roles.  Manage regular posting review process.
  • Applicant Tracking & Onboarding system support for the TA, HR Business Partner and Business Partner teams.  Provide continuous improvement suggestions for how to provide the best possible end-user support for Talent Acquisition systems. 
  • Analyze talent acquisition systems and processes; recommend improvements.  Including but not limited to, pre-employment background checking, ATS and posting resources. 
  • Consistently ensure the highest level of candidate experience through coordinating interview schedules and travel arrangements.  Ensure the highest level of internal customer (hiring managers, interview teams, and executives) experience by partnering with them to coordinate interview schedules and travel arrangements. 
  • As needed, source and review resumes, as well as screen applicants/candidates.
  • Responsible for providing weekly reporting updates.  In addition, run and construct ad-hoc reports as requested.
  • Partner with the other HR teams and coordinators on additional tasks as needed (up to 25%). 
  • Other ad hoc projects: as needed lead and monitor ad hoc projects throughout the year that are critical to Talent Acquisition support.

Required Experience:

  • 2-4+ years of experience in HR support role (Talent Acquisition support role is preferred).     
  • Prior experience supporting dynamic teams, in a fast-paced environment is required. 

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred, not required.

Other specialized skills, abilities required: 

  • Intermediate or above user of Microsoft office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel), internet skills.
  • Experience working with an ATS (preferably SuccessFactors)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively 
  • Ability to implement process improvements in a collaborative manner
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task frequently
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally, as well as within HR effectively & efficiently
  • Ensures confidentiality and protection of company data at all times
  • Must take initiative, be self-motivated
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities
  • Local / regional travel as needed.
