This is a great opportunity for a talented salesperson to join phs Wastekit, one of the leading suppliers of balers and compactors in the UK.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a field‑based sales role, developing a sales strategy to acquire new business across the industry. This is a high volume, fast‑paced, targeted role, so you must enjoy working effectively and efficiently in this environment. You will have a New Business target to hit every period, renewing, upgrading, and managing customers’ accounts to deliver a best‑in‑class service. Your outgoing personality and self‑motivation, along with a positive energy, will help you contribute to the team and colleagues across the business.

A day in the life of an Area Sales Manager

• Hunting for new customers through own lead generation and cold calling
• Conducting customer appointments
• Negotiating and closing deals with our diverse customer base
• Managing existing customer accounts
• Communicating with internal business colleagues
• Executing our sales strategy to achieve an exceptional customer experience

Ideal Candidate

• Talent and a successful track record of securing new business out in the field
• Experience selling multiple products and services across several sectors
• Tenacity, drive, self‑motivation, and a competitive nature
• Bias for action, independent and confident
• Experience in the waste, recycling, or a similar industry (desirable)
• Experience using CRM (Salesforce) and good IT proficiency

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of £30,000.00 and OTE of £56,000
• Uncapped commission
