Track Asset Manager – Nottingham – £52,500 (Pro rata) – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
A local transport operator is hiring a Track Asset Manager to oversee the condition, maintenance, and renewal of railway track and associated infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and cost‑effective operations.
The role balances technical engineering tasks with strategic responsibilities such as budgeting, contractor management, and lifecycle planning to minimise disruptions and maximise confidence in the transport system.
The Track Asset Manager will look after the following Asset Groups:
- Track (Asset Group 06)
- Points Machines (Asset Group 04)
- Points Heating (Asset Group 05)
Core Responsibilities
- Asset Oversight
- Maintenance Planning
- Inspections & Monitoring
- Failure Analysis & Prevention
- Contractor & Team Management
- Budget & Reporting
Required Experience
- Track engineering experience
- Technical understanding & ability to interpret technical drawings
- Ability to lead & coordinate projects
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £52,500 p/annum (pro‑rated for 6‑month contract)
