My client, a highly respected global insurer with a strong London Market presence is expanding its high-profile Property team and now seeks an additional Underwriter to focus on large, complex commercial accounts.
This is a standout opportunity to write big-ticket, multinational Property programmes where the carrier regularly leads or takes meaningful follow lines. You’ll enjoy genuine technical autonomy, excellent broker respect and the backing of a collaborative, high-calibre team.
The role:
- Underwrite new business & renewals on large, complex London-market Property risks (lead & follow)
- Analyse submissions, risk engineering, pricing and historic performance
- Attend client & broker meetings/presentations (UK & occasional international travel)
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with key brokers and clients
You:
- Property underwriting experience gained in the London market
- Proven track record on large / complex commercial risks
- Strong analytical skills and confident decision-making
- Exceptional communication – highly credible with brokers and clients
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, professional environment
