Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac ICU position requiring a KS or compact RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 22-bed Cardiac ICU and post code unit within a hospital setting
- Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Patient population includes cardiac ICU cases and post code patients
- On-site portion of CPI/MOAB High-Risk training is completed during orientation
- All candidates may be subject to rate reductions based on local radius rule, with local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
- COVID vaccination is not required as of July 1, 2023
- Only one Ascension system-wide position may be held concurrently
- Extension discussions should begin at least 45 days before assignment end date
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
- Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
- CPI Blue Card Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills, or MOAB De-Escalation and Managing Physical Confrontations courses, to be completed before or during orientation
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required with documentation of annual or biennial renewal per group assignment
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Copy of driver's license, two separate references, and license/certification documentation required for consideration
