Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with a NY license and prior ER travel experience for a 13-week Emergency Department assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 17-bed Emergency Room unit
• Patient ratio is typically 1:4
• Schedule is 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, but block scheduling is not guaranteed
• Uses Meditech charting system
• 13-week assignment
• Previous staff members from this health system will not be considered as travelers
• Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible for consideration
• COVID-19 vaccine is highly recommended but not required

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience
• At least 2 years of prior ER travel experience, with preferred contract renewals
• Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
