Registered Nurse Job Details
- Location: Canton, Ohio (44708) – Ohio healthcare jobs
- Unit: 4Main Medical/Telemetry Unit
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/19/2025 – End: 3/20/2026)
- Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910-$1960
- Employment Type: Travel nursing contract
RN Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State nursing license
- American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications (active)
- NIH Stroke certification (must obtain prior to start)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Telemetry (within past 12 months)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective nursing care to patients in a busy medical/telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to changes promptly
- Document patient care using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in orientation and ongoing competency assessments
- Work at least every other holiday during the contract
